Refund policy

This policy applies to advisory engagements from Networking Analytics—Path Clarity Reviews, Session Continuity Mapping, Outage Attribution Studies, and Ops Briefing Retainers. It does not cover products, shipping, or subscription software we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees paid for advisory work that has not been delivered as agreed, or that is cancelled under the timing rules below. Informational prices on the website are not invoices; only amounts confirmed in a signed scope or invoice are eligible.

Timeframe

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to hello@networking-analytics.digital at least five business days before the scheduled kickoff for fixed engagements, or before the next billing month for retainers.

Full and partial refunds

If you cancel five or more business days before kickoff and no preparatory work has started, we refund 100% of prepaid fees. If preparatory work has started (interviews scheduled, data intake opened), we refund prepaid fees minus documented time at the agreed daily rate, or 50% of the engagement fee—whichever is less costly to you.

Non-refundable items

Completed deliverables (accepted briefs, catalogues, timelines, and monthly briefing cycles already delivered) are non-refundable. Deposits marked non-refundable in the statement of work remain non-refundable once kickoff materials are shared.

Refund process and timing

Email a refund request with the invoice number and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within fourteen business days to the original payment method when possible.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a kickoff once without fee if notice arrives at least three business days ahead. Later reschedules may incur a rescheduling fee of 10% of the engagement value. We may reschedule for illness or force majeure and will offer a new date without penalty.

Deposits and no-shows

Deposits secure calendar time. Failure to attend a confirmed workshop without twenty-four hours’ notice may forfeit the deposit. Remaining prepaid fees for unfinished work follow the partial-refund rules above.

Work already started and purchased materials

Hours already spent on interviews, data review, or drafting are billable and deducted before any refund. We do not purchase materials for clients; therefore no material restocking rules apply.

Retainers

Retainers require a three-month minimum. Unused sessions in a paid month do not roll over unless agreed in writing. Early termination after the minimum returns unused prepaid months minus one month’s fee as a wind-down charge.

Exceptions

If we cannot staff an agreed engagement, you may choose a full refund of prepaid unused fees or a revised timeline. Statutory rights under Hong Kong law remain unaffected.
